Supply Chain Programs
NENY and coalition partner NY-BEST are hosting an online supply chain database. It will serve as an updateable resource to identify local, small, minority and women-owned businesses within the ecosystem. The NENY/NY-BEST supply chain database is now available for public search and company registration here.
NENY and its battery supply chain coalition members are working to empower and expand the New York Energy Storage ecosystem mapping the current supply chain, identifying areas ripe for growth and working to fill the gaps. Goals of this project include identifying regional and state capabilities and gaps, identifying companies with the potential to enter the ecosystem, facilitating business relationships between new and existing companies, and attracting businesses to the battery supply chain from outside the region, state and beyond.
NENY and its battery supply chain coalition members will work with current companies in the existing network to develop supplier qualification resources and a process to shorten the time to complete quality supply chain manufacturing components.
