Program Summary
Battery Technician Program
The Battery Technician program includes online self-paced training with a choice of participating in in-person labs. This program focuses on the new skills that are needed in relation to designing, operating, testing, maintaining, and replacing battery cells and packs for various applications.
Credentials:
- Learners who successfully complete the online learning only (without labs) will receive the Battery Technician Fundamentals badge.
- Learners who successfully complete both the online training and in-person labs will receive the Battery Technician Practitioner badge. The in-person labs are an optional add-on to the online learning.
The estimated weekly time commitment (learning hours) for the online 12-week program is about 2.5 hours per week. More information on the labs and lab schedule will be added soon.
